Discover the power within yourself to achieve your goals and dreams. Powered by Where will help you uncover your true potential and give you the tools you need to succeed.
At PoweredbyWHERE, we’re about more than just hard work—we’re about real effort. Not the kind of effort that’s performative or fleeting, but the kind that digs deep, that shows up early, stays late, and most importantly, aligns with a purpose bigger than ourselves.
Embrace God’s Truth
John 8:32 - “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Main Point: When we embrace God's truth, we are less likely to fall into patterns of self-sabotage. Acknowledging and accepting the truth of our identity in Christ helps us combat the lies we tell ourselves that lead to negative behaviors and choices.
Eliminate Doubt
James 1:6 - “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”
Main Point: Doubt can lead us to sabotage our potential and purpose. By eliminating doubt through faith in God’s promises, we can confidently step into the plans He has for us, instead of second-guessing our worth and abilities.
Engage in Prayer
Philippians 4:6-7 - “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Main Point: Engaging in prayer is vital in overcoming self-sabotage. It allows us to connect with God, seek His guidance, and find peace in our circumstances. This connection reinforces our belief in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, helping us remove self-doubt and align with His will
#1 Above all else, guard your heart
The final verse to share is probably the most meaningful to me in this stage of life, Proverbs 4:23: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
Main Point: This verse reminded me of the importance of protecting my thoughts and emotions. If I allowed negativity to take root in my heart, it would flow into my actions. So, I started being more mindful of what I was letting into my mind. I surrounded myself with positive influences and focused on the things I could control.
